419 frauds go scientific

It was only a question of time, wasn't it? The (in)famous Nigeria/419 style fraudsters have displayed such a versatility in how they present their scam to their prospective victims (contacting greedy scum masquerading as greedy scum with millions to hide, contacting charitable old ladies masquerading as widows and orphans, contacting evangelical preachers masquerading as missionaries setting up a seminary, etc. etc.) that it was to be expected that a scam targetted specifically at scientists had to come at some point. Well, here it is, fresh from my spam folder:

Amazing, isn't it? Especially the bit where he thinks scientists would be dumb enough to believe that the "UNESCO convention of 1995" would "unanimously" award a grant of this magnitude without them ever hearing anything about it before. Well, at least he gets points for creativity.
